About the event

This 4-hour Foundational Meditation Training is for aspiring Yoga Teachers or students. The module explores the ancient and modern science of meditation through the lens of yoga. You’ll gain practical experience and theoretical grounding to integrate meditation into your personal practice and teaching.

Drawing from classical yogic texts, neuroscience, and the BodyMindLife teaching methodology, this course introduces key meditation concepts such as mindfulness, mantra, mudra, pratyahara, dharana, and dhyana. You’ll explore different styles—guided, silent, Yoga Nidra—and develop the confidence to sequence and lead short meditation practices.

We investigate how meditation affects the nervous system, stress response, and emotional regulation. This module also discusses meditation’s therapeutic benefits during pregnancy, trauma recovery, and for modern lifestyle stress.

Whether you’re beginning your meditation journey or seeking to refine your teaching toolkit, this module offers accessible depth, practical tools, and inspirational energy.
